This inspiring event takes place every April to empower young girls and boys to embrace confidence and celebrate their unique identities. Beyond showcasing incredible fashion, the extravaganza raises funds to honor deserving mothers and fathers with monetary gifts on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Our Vision
The Girls and Boys of Destiny Fashion Extravaganza, hosted every April by the Girls and Boys of Destiny Foundation and the Legacy Coalition, with support from TaMara Myles Photography LLC, is more than just a fashion show it’s an inspiring celebration of confidence, self-pride, and community. This annual event encourages young girls and boys to embrace who they are and proudly express themselves through fashion, all while raising funds to honor deserving mothers and fathers with heartfelt gifts on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
Our Approach
In preparation for the big day, we host several exciting events for the children, including a professional photo shoot, a pamper party to help them feel special, and an etiquette class to boost their confidence on and off the runway.
Our Impact
None of this would be possible without the dedication of our incredible volunteers, who generously give their time and energy to make this event a success. Together, we create unforgettable experiences for the children and a lasting impact in the lives of families in our community.
